School tours are available, as well as family and community tours. Please see the calendar below for availability and then contact us to schedule your tour.
School field trips:
- Are educational, especially including science and social studies.
- Provide hands-on and sensory experiences.
- Are conducted by farmer educator with master’s degree in education.
- Provide experience with a wide variety of animals – chickens, turkeys, sheep, pigs, horses, working dogs and a barn cat.
- Are age appropriate.
- Includes a hay ride and demonstrations on composting, animals, farm safety, sustainable agriculture, recycling and conservation, water quality, and wildlife.
- Can be tailored to suit your individual needs.
Tour Rates:
- Farm tour school rates – $6.00 per person
- Farm tour rates – $10.00 per adult, $6.00 per child 12 years and under. $100 minimum charge. Includes hayride.
- Feeding time walking tour – $10 per person.
- Recommend close-toed shoes and long pants.
